Lunchtime ideas

So, I work fulltime and I just wondered if anyone out there could give me any ideas for easy, healthy, relatively low-cal lunches?

I've gotten into the habit of buying lunches, which I don't really want to continue with - partly the money issue, partly the lack-of-healthiness issue. Frankly it's due to laziness so I need any ideas to be as easy as possible!

I don't really have any facilities for heating foods at work, which is what has got me into buying each day. I used to have sandwiches, which is fine a couple days a week but every day...well, it's deathly boring, not to mention too much bread :(

So...

Can anyone help?

have you tried wraps as an alternative to bread? i have them sometimes when I'm going to be away from home at lunchtime, filled with chicken/tuna/ham etc plus salad, very filling.

also cold pasta salad with chopped tomatoes, onions, chopped chicken breast, veg etc

or even hummus and veg sticks?

I tend to prepare things where I have two or more portions so that I don't have to do prep every day.

http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/681634/helpyourself-tuna-rice-salad - this is quite a nice recipe, I've done it before and just halved most of the ingredients (although used the same quantity of tuna) and it comes out about 350 calories. And made it today with couscous instead of rice and sweetcorn instead of peas which I actually think is tastier.

Couscous, rice or pasta with some kind of protein and some veggies is usually a good place to start and then just start fiddling with quantities and combinations and dressings to find out what you like :)

Wraps, sandwiches, cold soup, salads, oatmeal, fruit & veggies with dip, yogurt, cereal, tacos, egg/chicken salad, the options are endless. Just mix up the ingredients and stuff shouldn't get too boring.

Greek yogurt and fruit with a sprinkling of granola. Hard boiled eggs, sliced tomatoes, cheese and crackers or your favorite toppings. Salads of all descriptions, just to name a few.
