Do you drink once in awhile? I had a taste for beer today and bought a Mich Ultra and honestly it's not that bad and I'm normally not a beer drinker. What is your beer of choice? Do you just blow it on beer or do you try to do a lower calorie beer?

Oh, I drink...I'm not a beer person, but I love my Gin and Scotch. I fit it into my calorie goals, and on my maintence day, I have 2 Martini's!0

I just can't get a taste for beer.
Even my taste in wine has changed since starting this journey. I used to love a bottle of pink champagne, but now I prefer a glass or two of pinot.0 -
I'm a beer drinker, and bourbon, and wine. I had to back off due to the calories that are loaded in beer, got a beer belly and working away from that. I'm abstaining for the week, and will have a few on Saturday and that's it. Also got tired of the hangovers.0

Yup! I love relaxing at the end of the day with a beer. I do fit it into my macros, most of the time. Right now I really enjoy dark beer, like an oatmeal or espresso stout. Guiness is suprisingly low in calories -- give it a try?0

Wanna try Guiness didn't know it was low in calories, I like Shiner Bock so I might like it? I love dark colored beer just don't drink much of it thought it was loaded in cals.0 -
I'm a beer drinker, and of course I love the high calorie ciders, and ale's. I normally try to keep my calorie count low if I know I plan on drinking that evening- Either way I normally go over if i do decide to drink.0

I will fit drinks into my plan (I run for beer). I homebrew (beer-mostly ales, cider, mead) so I can adjust what I brew to fit my needs. I will brew anywhere between 2.5% to 16% beers. Meads usually run in the 12%-14% alcohol, ciders 4% to 16% depending how/if I cut them. My brewing software calculates the calories for me which makes it simple for tracking.
I still drink commercial beers, mostly micro craft beers versus the bigger brands. I will rather have one or two higher alcohol good beers than three or four lower alcohol commercial beers. My days of drinking to get buzzed are pretty much gone, more into the flavors now.0
