I have to give myself a pat on the back. During Thanksgiving I did cut back, we've thrown out a lot of food. As I told my wife, "we don't need it". Everyday for the past 7 days I've been doing cardio. I had started off with only 15 minutes for a couple of days, then I went to 25 and now I'm doing a 10 minute HIIT Cardio. My subconscious tells me , "Pops....don't even think about passing 30...take it easy". So I will. Tomorrow I'll do a 30 minute HIIT Cardio again, the later in the afternoon, I'll start weight training again.
