Ever since I hat 147 I been going back between 147 and 150 I can't seem to break the cycle. I haven't been logging properly which I think is part of the reason but I am eating well and have not changed things much. its been almost 3 weeks. I am already at a 1200 calories diet sometimes going over a little. I work out atleast 5 times a week 20-30 minutes cardio with light weight a couple times a week. I am going to start 30 day shred in a few days to hopefully help.
any other advice or any one else going through this?
also I am 5'5 idk if that helps or matters. lol

I'd say log properly and see if you have really kept to the calorie count. It doesn't take more than one or two things here and there to mess with your weight loss.0

you probly need to eat a little bit more - 1200 just isn't enough to keep most people's metabolisms up. I know all the time I was on 1200 cal I either maintained, or somehow gained (granted not very much, but still). I find that at least 14-1500 is about right, but you do have to exercise (which I'm not so good at). Also, the type of food you eat does make a difference (regrettably) vegetables, lean meat, u know the drill0

Same thing just happened to me when I hit 150... I was stuck between 150 and 153 for a good month and a half.
This is going to sound VERY crazy... but trust me on this... you need to up your caloric intake. I was on 1200 calories forever too (I started this journey at 227lbs and am currently 147)... and my personal trainer had me up my calories to between 1500-1600. This will up your metabolism and get your body burning calories again. It's what finally broke me through that 150 plateau. Obviously don't fill that extra 300-400 calories with junk... keep it healthy and you'll be fine.
My guess is that you've put on some muscle while losing the body fat... and your body needs more energy to maintain that muscle. If you keep on at 1200 calories, you are technically starving your body, so it holds on to everything.
Hope this helps!0 -
I'm almost 5'5 too...I've been having trouble with the last pounds for 2 months. Can't seem to get off the plateau. Stick with logging as much as you possibly can, log everything!! I, myself don't always do this...they say the last 10 lbs are the hardest to lose. Good luck!0
