Anyone else not weighing in?

I was just wondering if there are others out there that have thrown the scale out the window? I spent the first 40 pounds obesssing over the scale, to a point where I was weighing daily and beating myself up over normal fluctuations, not to mention throwing in the towel repeatedly. I decided to take the remaining 40ish pounds off using monthly measurements and gauging how my clothes feel, and was hoping to find some buddies that are doing something similar. :)

hi there. This is what I do, mostly b/c my scale broke and I always always obsess about it. I measure myself only and I do seem to be losing little by little. I am trying this for now. I also go to Overeaters Anonymous and that is helping.

mmm, haven't thrown them away as such but have decided I'm not going to weigh myself for a month . . . scales hadn't moved in 3 weeks yet clothes were fitting me heaps better! Even have a pair of jeans I couldn't fit then but are now baggy on me! My next weigh in will be 16th Dec before I head off on holiday!

Thanks for the responses! I do have to weigh in today (doctor's appointment) but I'm ready for it. I did some sculpting this morning so I'm prepared to see some water retention, and that's okay with me because I know I've been sticking with my plan. :)

My other half hid the scale from me as I was getting obsessed with it. I now weigh in once a month.
