I went to my grandparents for Thanksgiving and the first night we were there my Nana came up to me and asked me how much weight I had lost. I looked at her for a minute very confused because it was completely out of the blue and I hadn't mentioned anything to her about trying to lose weight or even eating healthier and exercising. Then I figured my mom must have said something so I told her I had lost about 8 pounds this past month. I asked my mom about it later and she said that she hadn't mentioned anything to her either! She's the first person to mentioned anything to me, and it made me feel great that she noticed without anything being said to her about it! This just gives me that much more motivation to lose even more weight before I see her again at Christmas time.

Did anyone else have an awesome NSV that happened over Thanksgiving this past week?

Yay that's awesome! Praise from grandparents is wonderful.
Thanksgiving was full of victories for me. I've lost about 40 since most of my family has seen me. My grandfather (who usually is a little critical of my weight but in a motivational way) could not stop telling me how good I looked and how proud of me he was. I honestly can't remember the last time to told me that, if ever. I usually get the get off your *kitten* kid talk and it was so amazing to hear something else! My whole family was going on about my wife and I (she has lost nearly 60!) so much that it got annoying. Lol
I also lost a stupid amount if weight this week due to an abcess getting drained and being medicated during thanksgiving dinner. And I hit onederland today! So yay thanksgiving!
