Hi everyone, I hope u guys are fine. I was a non-vegetarian till 17th june 2012. From june 18th 2012 to december 31st 2012, i wanted to maintain being lacto-vegetarian and from next year january 1st, i want to become ovo-vegetarian.
Let me come to my problem... i am getting bone pain... when i was a non-vegetarian, i used to drink mutton soup if i had this pain. But now, i am a vegetarian. I am planning to drink more milk and eat broccoli but i am not-so-sure over foods which has high calcium.
My eating is good. My periods too got over 1 week back. Today i ate about 1650 calories where my net calories is around 1350. I don't feel weak in eating, only my bones are giving me some pain.
Also, i run everyday for minimum 30 minutes which is my workout. I have a strong passion to run 10k race next year. I really don't want to quit.
""Please suggest any other vegetables and fruits or any food which has high content in calcium/iron/bones?"""

Not sure what your pain is stemming from, but it's certainly not "bone pain". Your bones don't have nerve endings and therefore do not cause pain directly. Eating more calcium or iron is most likely not the answer.
Maybe you should see your doctor about the pain you are feeling if you don't feel it is explainable.0 -
I would check your shoes first of all. Also on what sort of ground do you run?(your exercise diary says you run in place?? you mean skipping?) Maybe thats the problem. Also if my bone pain you mean your joints are aching, you should probably try glucosamine and chondroitin. Also take calcium supplements. They really helped me deal with my knee pain. They are cheap and you dont have waste unnecessary time cooking to get some calcium0
