problems with mfp calculator

I've just had an hour of walking , my pace has always been moderate ,not slowly. Most of sites say i should have burned like at least 300 calories or even more but this depends on my weight (58 kilos) but mfp says i only burned less than 240 calories . It's important for me to know almost exaclty because it's gonna affect my dinner cause i wanna stay in my calories and for the record today i've started eating 1700 calories and burning 400/500 of them so i'm sure i'm eating enough and my net calories will always be more than 1200

    If you are fairly fit wearing a heart rate monitor will give you the best estimate of calories burned during exercise. Everything else is just averages.
