I normally weigh my chicken after it's cooked, but tonight I weighed it before and after. I think the difference was 3 ounces? So... which am I supposed to log? Raw weight or cooked weight?

As a vegetarian Ill have to guess but I'd say moisture is lost during cooking, so you'd probably weigh after cooking as this is what you'll be consuming?0

I always weigh my meat raw, unless I cooked it already for left overs. I think most people weigh it raw.0

Weigh it as you enter it. If you look in the database there will be Chicken Breast, cooked and Chicken Breast, raw. So if you're weighing your chicken after its cooked, make sure you log it as cooked chicken.0
