Hi! This website is a great and easy way to keep track of my food habits, calories, fat, protein, etc. I wish that it also showed how much fibe I am taking in or am I missing something.

I have to change my eating and lifestyle. I have a situation which I have very little exercise, I am obese and need all the support I can get.
I started a job 1 year and half ago. However, my job is a librarian where I sit most of the day cataloging books, and library material. I leave for work at 8 am to drive 1 and half hours to my job, work eight hours and drive how again 1 and half hours. We haven't moved closer to m y job as my husband had dementia and the family and I feel a move may hurt him more than it would me. So I have little time for exercise. When I get hiome I am tired. I am planning on getting an exercise bike when we get our income tax back. I have a bad knee so walking only aggravates it. Any suggestions are appreciate.

Thanks for this great web stie.

Welcome to MFP Gerri. It sounds like you have your plate full, as do many of us. Long commutes are rough, they do drag the day out don't they? I work alot of ten hour days, so I can relate. Exercise is hardly what I feel like doing after being wiped out from the job. Mine is high pressure and very stressful. I have been making myself do it however, take a rest day or two if I have to, and sometimes, just put in a little time at it, instead of a whole 45 minutes which is what I want to do. I find it is energizing most days. I always feel great afterwards. There simply aren't enough hours in the day. I have convinced myself to make the time, and I believe it is finally beginning to pay off.

Surely you will find much great advice here about exercises you can do with a bad knee, the exercise bike sounds like an excellent idea.

I know what you mean too about the food diary. I often wished it included the ability to track nutrients as well, that would be super-dee-duper. There are other sites that can give you that info, but it would be nice to have it all in one place.

Congrats on getting here. You will find a ton of advice , support ,and motivation.

    Good luck to you!

You asked about tracking Fiber.... You can do that but you have to decide what you need to track as you only track 5 different items but you just pick one and change it to Fiber.

    But to get there...

    Go to [MY HOME]
Then to "Settings" (found at the top of your home page
Then go down and click on "Diary Settings"
Make your changes then scroll down to [SAVE]

I hope this helps you and good luck in your journey! :flowerforyou:
