college student meals

I'm a college student and I look at all the posts of awesome meals people make, but I simply don't have the skill nor the time, so does anyone have any good simple recipes or things to eat for a college student who can't cook well?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm kind of in the same boat. I've gotten a little better since using MFP, but I am always looking for good ideas!
One of the things I've discovered recently is the bags of frozen chicken breasts they sell at the grocery store. They aren't too high in calories, really help me get my protein in for the day, and are super easy to cook! I put some olive oil in a skillet, sprinkle the chicken with some garlic powder and italian seasoning (you can use whatever spices you want though based on what flavor you like) and then cook it for about 8 minutes or so on medium heat, flipping it once or twice in the middle of cooking. You can eat it plain or a lot of times I add it into a salad, mix it with some pasta, or make a wrap out of it. Super easy, tastes good, and is versatile.
Also, I've become obsessed with making these toasted turkey wraps after seeing the recipe on pinterest. The only thing I change is that I only use 1 tbsp of hummus and I add a little shredded cheddar cheese to it. It's super good!

I will def try that, thank you! How many calories do you have set per day because I've seen lots of different opinions on what calorie intakes a person should set.0

Mine is set at 1,550 per day. I just went by what MFP calculated for me in order to lose 1.5 pounds per week based on my activity level and current weight. I exercise almost everyday though and often eat back some of those calories; so typically I end up eating anywhere between 1400-1800 calories per day. It's worked for me so far.
I tend to see a lot of different opinions on the site as well. I think it's kind of different for everyone though. You just have to figure out what works for you, and go with that. Then if you don't see a change in weight or inches for a while find a way to change it up a little bit and see if that helps.0 -
if you like tuna you can get tuna packets and slice up some cucumbers and eat it on those.. super yummy, feeling, and not too many calories either. XD0
