Slightly discouraged/Highly motivated

Since I started with MFP I had lost 22lbs but here came Thanksgiving and that went down the drain. During that week I worked out daily and ate real good. Then on Thanksgiving I made sure I portioned out my food and worked out twice that morning. When I did my weekly weigh in I gained 3lbs. When I looked at the scale I wanted to cry because I swore I did everything right. I was instantly discouraged and it made me want to go out and buy something just awful for me. It took a lot out of me to not to just give up right then and there but I refuse to fall back into the trap that I have fallen into for so long. I dug deep and found my motivation. I went and did my second Insanity Fit Test and improved on everything. So although I gained weight I have also gained strength. I will not allow anything to stop me from becoming healthy again. Although it is discourging when you don't see any change in your weight or when the change is a gain in your weight rather a loss. Gaining strength is just as important as losing pounds and losing inches is more important than losing pounds also.
I am just hoping with this I can help motivate people who want to give up on themselves when they don't see any change on the scale. Believe in yourself and don't give up. Fight through the negatives and you will find a positive. :happy:
