That depends, How tall is this 19 year old? How active is she/he.

This lists healthy weight depending on height and body frame.

It's not necessarily age as it's by height. Look up your BMI by typing in your height. It does fluctuate by age but not a whole lot. Here's a good BMI calculator: http://www.webmd.com/diet/calc-bmi-plus

Age doesn't play as big a role in weight as height and build. While as you age, you get more body fat, that doesn't have to be the case if you continue to eat healthy and exercise.

I would instead try to check your body fat percentage and compare that to the average so you can determine where you are in range. Most gyms have a body fat calculator or you can get a scale that has it. Otherwise, there are calculation estimates online.

I don't think this is a silly question. This individual may think she is too big cause of what someone said. But in reality she could weigh 120 lbs soak and wet.

Use the link above. It shows you what weight percentile you are in for the American population based on your gender, age, height and weight. However, for yourself, you have to think about frame size, muscle mass, genetics...a whole slew of things!

According to this calculator, 126 pounds would be the 50th percentile for someone your height and age in the U.S.. That's not the average; it means that half the 19 year old women are under that weight and half above. It also doesn't mean that that is necessarily the best weight for you personally.

Edited: Because I said "median" and that's not what I meant.

BMI is just as bad of an indicator as weight. If you are athletic or have a lot of lean body mass, then you will be overweight in both categories. Below is a good story of women who is almost at her max weight. She is 5'4, 140 lbs and probably around 15% body fat. The first link is the story, the second is a weight chart.

    Very vague question.

Gender, Height, bone structure, athlectics and much more come into play with discussing the "average" weight.

    100-250 sounds reasonable

the square root of pi times the speed of light divided by the circumference of the earth...that is the average weight of a 19 year old.

Honey, don't compare yourself to other people. Focus on being fit, strong and healthy, for YOUR body type.
