Excerise after having bubs?

How long did it take your body to start feeling 'normal' again when working out after you had a baby?
I had little Sophie Grace 5 weeks ago now and started excercising about a week later, but got back into it slowly, i.e- I started just by walking etc... and my body would ache after a half hour walk. Its now been 5 weeks and I started back at the gym two days ago, walked the half hour then and felt sore before even opening the gym doors. LOL needless to say, I only did a 20min workout(ten on the treadmill and ten on the bike) then walked a half hour back home..
ANYHOO, my body is STILL sore and I cant remember it being like this 5 weeks after having my others? Its not that Im sore all the time, its just that when walking etc, my inner thighs ache and even my hip area?
Any tips etc or advice or experience? thanks
