Hello All!

Yep, I have been recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I had no clue before finding myself in the hospital emergency room in DKA. My blood-sugar was 986. Doctor said that if I had been a few hours later I would not be in the emergency room but in the morgue. Since being out of the hospital, as of October 23, I have been on a strict diet, light workout program, and taking insulin injections 3 times a day. This has been a complete life change for me. But I have been doing pretty good. I have already lost 35 pounds. Anybody else out there going through this?

    Yes, I have. Read a considerable amount about him and much of the material he wrote. Interesting man. I have been incorporating some of his diet ideas. I remember when he was mentioned rather freaquently in the media.
