Hey! I've been on here before, and I am trying to get back in the game! I am looking for people who are heavier and trying to lose weight. I have a lot of weight to lose, and would love to have someone to/for support on my journey. I also want to become a runner. That is my ultimate goal. I have done swimming, and I am looking for something new. I need a new challenge. So if you are heavier and want to eventually run, definitely add me! I would love to have someone to talk about it with along the way. :)

  • Hey! I've been consistently plugging along since the end of June and still have a way to go. My dad and sister run marathons...so I'd love to join them one day! That's a huge scary goal. Feel free to add me!

I want to run! Actually, I jogged for the first time during my treadmill workout tonight for a whole minute! I am going to take it very, very slowly, because I am still a lot of woman. Heh.

I still have 80 lbs to go, and a couple of weeks ago, I started Couch to 5k program.
For me, this is the hardest thing I have done!!!

It is a nine week program,(but there will be several weeks that I will have to repeat (possible numerous times)) before progressing to the next week. But that is ok, I have never been a runner, so I am taking my time on the program, and hope that I will complete it in about 4 months.

Set up your goal, program and stick with it, if I can, you can!!

ME!!!! I want to run. Just huffed and puffed...I mean jog/walked my first 5K a few weeks ago. It was hard and I came in last, but was inspired and stoked to keep trying.
