My Protien - Whole Psyllium Husks ADVICE

I am looking into getting this as I am doing low carb and currently do not have much fiber in my diet....

Does anyone take this? And if so how much do you use per serving/daily because it recommends 1.5 grams of powder which doesn't seem like a lot at all considering there is only 7g of fiber in 10g of powder?

ADVICE NEEDED!

    I use the Kirkland brand version of Metamucil. Works fine keeping me regular.
    It is sugar free too.
    Been using it for years.
  • I take plain psyllium husk (not that particular brand). I usually use 2- teaspoons to 1 Tablespoon in about 8oz of water, quick stir and drink quickly, usually a few hours after dinner and at least 1 hr before bedtime. It is one of the better fiber supplementals out there as it is a bulking fiber which helps to clean out the nooks and crannies in the intestines and it exercises your intestines. It promotes movement that keeps your intestines from getting sluggish and improves your digestion (and the efficient removal of toxins) and absorption of nutrients.
