  • Just do a "mental reset", pretend your just starting fresh tomorrow, set new goals....you can do it!
  • i also find myself getting slack too, i lost weight so now i don't care as much it seems, but i need to get myself focused again, i need to get ot my goal weight. This is sad to say but there is this very overweight girl next to my apt and she says i can't do it, taht diets don't work, so i keep telling myself that i am going to prove her wrong, and so far she is eating her words. lol
  • I have been having the same problem for a long time now. I think I may have finaly found the correct mindset though. Weight loss isn't going to happened if you dont have the right mindset.
The best way that I have found to stay under my calories is:
    1. I eat a high fiber cereal every morning with a full cup of milk
    2. Eat a lunch that has no more than 280 calories
    3. Eat a mid-afternoon snack that has 150 calories
    4. Eat Pork instead of beef. Pork roast is way better than beef. Pork tenderloin is the best thing that has ever happened to me dieting. For 4oz of meat it is only 110 calories.
    5. The new Betty Crocker instant mashed potatoes. They are only 80 cals for 2/3c. The loaded ones are THE BOMB.
    6. Fresh or Frozen veggies.
    7. The new JELLO brand Mouse cups. The chocolate ones are FABULOUS and they only have 60cals.
Good LUCK to you!! You can do this!

I would say that diets don't work either. You have to consider it a changed lifestyle. I was on and off diets for years. I was never severely overweight but I would gain and lose the same 20lbs over and over again. Diets don't work because people try to look for these miracle diets that are going to amazingly take off 50 lbs in a month. I made gradua changes in my diet about 2 years ago and have kept those 20 lbs off through healthy eating and exercise
