Belly fat / love handels

OK so I am in the gym 5-6 nights a week cardio & strength 2hours a night I was pretty much 200pounds over time I lost some went down to 189 started the gym it's been 1year now and I'm down to 128 my goal is 120 or 115 I'll decide once I hit 120 anyways I eat the special k meals and occasionally something small of a treat Lol I have been on and off of oxyElite wich has helped increase my energy for workouts and decrease my appetite cravings ect.. I am only drinking water and or small 80calorie Gatorade I want to get rid of the rest of my belly chub it's not much but enough to give me a ugly roll when I sit down!! ;( I'm doing 10groups on 20 crunches I just added that to my workout this past weekend. I'm so inpatient I want to look good feel good I want to be in better shape than ever but I'm battling the belly chub and love Handel's please help I want to be down a fuew more pounds before Christmas I want to Wow my family that I haven't seen in a long while not only for that but to Wow my hubby MOSTLY MYSELF how did u get ur love Handel's and chub gone???

    Continue losing weight if you feel it is needed.

    From there, you may need to start lifting heavy to help firm things up. Love handles on skinnier people tend to be from lack of weight training rather than excess fat.
  • I love Handel's messiah. it's very relaxing and spiritually uplifting. :)

    Love handles on the other hand...I could do with out. Unfortunately and cruelly we tend lose weight in areas we might not want to and the place we wish was slimmer takes forever to lose.
    I lose weight off my face before my belly grrrrr

    try jogging/running/sprints/HIIT..and DANG you've done so good losing!!

    I would say first that it you could do crunches until the cows come home, all it will do is improve the muscle underneath the fat layer. You'll just need to continue to eat healthy and lose the fat, it'll come, you just need to be patient.
    Second is that everyone gets a roll when they sit down! You have to get to a ridiculous BF% before it doesn't, it's not something to worry about. :)

    Yep same as above, you can't spot reduce to lose fat in a certain area. All you can do is continue to eat at a deficit and hope it goes from where you want! The body is evil some times, I've lost from all over but will my *kitten* get any smaller, no it will not! I am pre-programmed to carry my wide load round with me unfortunately. I think it's nature's way of having a little laugh at us some times :bigsmile:
