Is there a way to manually choose how many calories?

MFP tells me I should eat 1500 calories a day to maintain, but that's too low for my body. My fat % is ~10% and I have a lot of muscle, so I need to eat more calories.

My question is simply, is there an option in the diary settings to manually change the number of calories you should have a day in your diary? I know it shouldn't matter what's written, but it bothers me to see those red numbers when I know I'm not overeating!

Thanks in advance. xx

You can set your calories, macros and micros to whatever you like. It's easier to do from a real computer than from your phone. Log in at a real computer, click on "goals", "change goals" and select "custom".

Yes there is....I change mine every few lbs lost. :)

Go to 'My Home' and under the sub-categories, go to 'Goals'. There's a 'change goals' button at the bottom.

Yes. Go to the home page and click on "goals". Then click "change goals", then choose "custom".....change what you want and save it at the bottom :)

Give the busy people more than 3 minutes to answer your question...

I've got mine arbitrarily set at 2600 because MFP sets me too low even when I track exercise.

I'm losing faster than 1lb/week as is anyway.
