I find this quote applicable:"If you had to choose between wearing no shoes or running shoes to lift in which would you pick?"
Rip's response: "That is like asking me to choose between stabbing myself in the eye with a fork or burning the roof of my mouth with extremely hot pizza. Can't we just avoid both?"0 -
only if you wear a headband or bandana...then it's okay0

I, for one, have a vested interest in both your exercise choice and accessories.0

yes. and dont feel bad. no one should be that focused on what kind of fabrics you are wearing on what part of your body unless you show up in a lavendar tutu and fairy wings and dont have a story to go with it. Cool?0

Hmm, maybe I should do a cleanse before I go to the gym for my spot reduction workout!0

I saw sport whatever you wish...Including Yoovie's Lavender tutu....but put polka dot tights under them. It will look way more classy that way.0

If it is more comfortable to wear the gloves, why wouldn't you wear them... Cardio or not?0

It's really good that you decided to check in with all of us here on MFP before you made your decision because what all of us random strangers on the internet think is extremely important.0

Pffft I wear gloves AND I don't wear shoes. Do what you want.0

You shouldn't get callouses from lifting weights properly. You get callouses from throwing weights around like a wannabe jock. My skin is hard underneath but smooth on top.
You shouldn't wear gloves for vanity reasons. I have just started to wear them because my weights are the right size for my muscles but the wrong size for my wrists so I need the support from the wrist straps. I don't don't want to get tendonitus and not be able to workout at all.0 -
there goes my late week workout outfit, back to the rainbow suspenders and bright yellow clown shoes.0
-
wear the gloves.
hell, go get some pretty purple ones like mine0 -
I wear gloves when I lift and I run 50 miles a week - go figure.0
