I currently feel very conflicted.

I have been working for this one company for little under two years. it is a small company but I make really good pay for this position.

I enjoy my work but am currently interviewing for another position with a bigger company.

The pay may be less but they have many more benefits including further promotions.

No offense but I am not cut out to be a recruiter. Which seems to be the position they are currently grooming me to move into.

Should I go to the face-2-face interview just to see if they are willing to negotiate on the pay? Or stay with this company and gain more experience first?

Does the bigger company offer better benefits? If so how do they factor in fiscally?

Is the bigger company well known? In which case six months of them on your resume will be better than ten years of a small unknown company.

There are inherent dangers in working for big companies though, so be cautious. My company has 3000+ employees nationwide but because, as with all big companies, annual number goals drive the growth, you can expect yearly layoffs without warning if goals aren't met.

    Thanks everyone.

I think I just am feeling guilty for all that they have given me great experience, but are pressuring me into a career path that is not a good fit for me. Despite me saying i don't want to be in that field.

I will go to the interview with this other company. It is very large and well know across the US, they are a major cable provider.

We shall see what they offer.
