"earned calories"

So my daily calorie goal I made for myself is 1200 and I've been burning about 400-600 calories on workout days. Today for instance I burned about 500 and so my calories for the day went up to 1715 calories.

Would you recommend sticking to the 1200 I originally planned? Or eat more?

I ate around 1400 calories and feel like I ate too much. Am I just being neurotic? Hahah

Good job with the workouts! I often find myself in your predicament. Usually, if I don't feel hungry, i don't eat up my earned calories. I try to normally stick to the 1200 a day regardless. But if you're hungry (most likely due to your vigorous workouts) then eating up your earned calories is totally fine.

Thanks for the input! :) I think another reason why I've been a lot hungrier is I've been waking up superrr early like 5am so all of my meals have been earlier than normal too.

You are hungrier because you are working out and not eating enough. You are supposed to "net" your goal. The site is designed with the intention of eating back the exercise. This way, you net your original calorie goal, which will lead to weight loss, yet you haven't had to deprive yourself because you were able to earn more food by exercising.
