I think you need one that is suitable for swimming too, something like this..

I wonder how available they are here? They might have them in the medical supplies shop or a sports shop in the city. Will check it out next time I go.0

where in indonesia?
I know in Jakarta they have shopping malls selling only electro stuff0 -
Hi delikium
,
I am in Lombok. I cant think of any shops like that in our capital Matram. I was thinking maybe Kimia Pharma who sell medical supplies or maybe a sports shop.
Sudiah I checked out that link and they only ship overseas if you place your order through a frieght forwarder like Bongo ( never heard of them) and then they warn about import duty - etc so I would be best to get one here if I can find one (maybe cheaper) If not I may get someone coming over to bring me one.
I am going to try and do a bit more than just the swimming if I can and thought it would be useful.0 -
well....don't know if this is of any help but from what i found online for Lombok:
Mataram Mall, apparently it has several electronics stores.0 -
Thanks.I doubt the electronics stores in the mall will have them somehow. They sell TVs, fridges etc but I will check it out. or maybe my usual electronics store could order one for me?? I will check it out and the sports store, next time I go to town. Mind you it will take a bit of courage for me to walk into a sports store!!!0

Only place that sells Polar that I have found in Indonesia is
http://www.primafit.com/v2/showroom.php
they do not mention on their website but their retail shop in Gandaria city had a selection a week ago and I have had batteries replaced by them at their head office location a few years ago.
They are not cheap; do not upset yourself and compare to US prices

If you contact head office in Jakarta and agree to purchase they will probably agree to send via tiki or jne at your risk to Lombok after receiving payment from you. Cheaper to use those companies than dhl or other intl courier company as generally have faster and better coverage within Indonesia.
I have nothing to do with company btw so cannot give any comment on service etc.
Trying to import from Singapore will probably bring customs issues but if have a friend visiting Singapore there are various places that supply Polar products and can hand carry back without much hassle. If not mistaken there is one at Changi airport and that will be tax free but better check that they have in stock the item you want via email.0 -
