Im new...and looking for friends :-)

Morning all,

After failing miserably at WW for the past few months....my weight keeps creeping back on....mainly because I seem to have given up and keep eating the wrong foods. I know WHY I am gaining, but I seem to be struggling to STOP myself from doing it.

I sucessfully lost a few stone using Weight Loss Resources a few years ago, and as MFP is also based on calorie counting and FREE! I thought I would give it a go.

I am 30 married, 5ft 8in, and currently 12st 7lb :-( I am aiming to get myself back down to 10st 7lb....but I fear it maybe tricky to acheive.

If anyone in a similar boat would like to add my as a friend for a chat feel free :-)

    I'm in the same boat. I knew why I wasn't losing weight (eating at my maintenance and not working out enough), but I still didn't change my ways because I simply became comfortable with my current weight (~172 pounds). After months of stalling at ~172 pounds, I've decided to get serious again so I can drop down to ~140 pounds.

    By using this site, I've been able to track every single thing I put into my body, which has really opened my eyes. It was pretty sad to find out how little I'm allowed to eat in order to achieve my goals, but my body got used to it in roughly 2 days. Since I've gotten serious with changing my diet, I've become serious about consistently exercising again as well.

    Sooo, I guess what worked for me is that I re-evaluated my goals, figured out how to achieve them, and finally did something about it. Hope this helps, and good luck!
