just another rant

Okay so in my real life I don't have that mush support which is fine I am doing this for me and I enjoy it a lot. What is bugging me though is I know 4 people who rang from over weight to morbidly obese that say they want to lose weight. So I talk with them about things I've read things I'm trying and one of these people I call nightly to see if they want to go to the gym. All four of these people have no real motivation or desire to do it. They just want to wine and get people to feel bad for them and I am sick of it.
So I have stopped all together giving three of them any of my attention or advice as far as getting healthy go's, unless they tell me they when't to the gym and feel great then I tell them that's great.
But one of them I know the things her husband say about her behind her back not just to my husband but to me and other people at parties. .I have in the past told her and she just acted like it was nothing then would twist some thing my husband said to hers out of frustration to get the attention off of her and to make me made at my husband. So now I don't tell her about it because I know she doesn't want to hear it and her probably won't really leave her if she doesn't lose weight.
If he was going to he would have done it by now because this has been going on for years its just got a lot worse recently and that mostly has to do with some thing else.
Yes I did suggest therapy and a trainer.
So now I don't know what to do or say I have my own life and problems that I don't need to waist my time on hers, but I don't have much friends and when I hear her husband say things like he dose. I want to help her hit her goals and stick to it.

Could you have a word with the husband and explain that he could really help by giving her positive encouragement?0

Until she is truly ready there really isn't anything that you can do. Just be a roll model and remind her that when she is ready, you'll be there for her.0
