it was really good, im just not sure how many calories it was! im assuming it had a lot, but not as much as the whole fruits itself!

I would just log each item individually, and use that number, it will be a little high, but that will be a good thing, your still getting all the sweetness out of the fruit, etc., which is probably where most of the calories are. Unless you can look online somewhere for juicer recipes, they might have calories associated with them.

    Hi,
I do a lot of juicing and have had a hard time finding out the answer to this question.
The most common answer from the most reliable sources seems to be that generally the calorie count per fruit or veg is just slightly lower after juicing than before.
    e.g. 50 cals before, 46 after.
When I juice, I count the items as though they were whole.
  • I found this online, it seems to be helpful.

You can be a trend setter too.
  • I don't count calories anymore.

First, there is a difference between dead calories - processed foods - and live calories - fresh juice.

    Your body handles both differently.

Eat less dead calories and you can still gain weight as compared to consuming more live calories.

So don't get too concerned about the calories in fresh juice. Just enjoy the juice as it actually cleanses the body
