Strength Training and Recovery from Cardio Exrercises

Hey everyone! So, I've been wanting to start strength training, but I'm having a hard time on figuring out when during the week to do it. I dance ballet and modern on Tuesday's and Thursdays and usually those classes leave me sore for about 2-3 days. I also take Pilates from time to time and Spinning which also leave me sore. I think the only cardio based class that doesn't leave me sore is Zumba. Anyway, is this soreness not a big deal? Should I just start lifting anyway? If I waited until my muscles felt okay, I could probably only lift once a week, maybe twice. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
