    Aww, such a lovely story! :smile:

    I must be in a bad area then, awhile back I smiled and held the door open for a middle aged lady, she told me to stop smiling and that she could get the door herself.. There's always one, I suppose :laugh:

    here is not a day go by where i don't smile or say hello to people I meet on the street. You know it might be the only smile they get and it makes me feel good too.

    When I first moved to Texas from New Hampshire I was so confused by all these strangers making eye contact with me. WTH?! It's been nearly 20 years now and I'm the biggest culprit to try and make a stranger smile, or giggle, or hell out right belly laugh. I LOVE how friendly people are, and no one is really a stranger in this giant *kitten* state.
