Nice work on quitting smoking! That's my huge weakness!! I watch what I eat, exercise daily, but I smoke like a chimney. Its a work in progress.....slow......but trying.

Awesome! When I quit, I swapped my cigarette addiction with a gym addiction  I still gained a few, but I look sooooo much healthier now!

    Good luck!

Great job! It isn't an easy task. I did it myself about 10.5 years ago....I DID gain weight but never regretted quitting regardless.

I started my journey during the middle/end of September. So far I have lost ~ 23 lbs. On Sunday, I will be cigarette free for 5 weeks. I'm going to find the post that helped me. I basically took it one craving at a time, one day at a time. I seriously had to have deep discussions with myself during some of the cravings. Two weekends ago my family came to visit and they like to go to the bars. I had 4 or 5 vodka sodas in the course of 6 hours out. I CRAVED a cigarette, I almost gave in. I gave myself every excuse like one doesn't matter, it'll be ok, just one. When a buzzed mind has to overcome temptation, it's a PITA. I kept telling myself that if I overcame this urge that I would be so proud of myself the next day. The next day, I was proud!
You can do it, believe in yourself. I'll post the post that helped me.
