    I tried to fill the void with Bunheads because it's the same writer and some of the same actors, not the same though. I used to love that show.

    I do not miss it, I own the boxset, love it, just love it.
    Actually been trying to get the idea out there in the world, the show ended with Rory going to work for Obama, meaning she may still be working their.... but why not a couple years from now (or make it as if it was a couple of years from now) do a reunion special, TV movie or just a like a couple episodes.
    Showing how the characters are now, years later.
    Lorelai and Luke still together?
    Rory still doing good things?
    Did Lane and Zach ever have more than just that one "experience" together?
    How is the band after all this time?
    Gilmore girls still being short and sarcastic with each other on Friday night dinners?
    I have a million and one questions... but what I would love to see and have them do is this reunion and then have everyone together, and then Rory shows up hand in hand with none other than Jess.... they had bumped into each other while she was travelling the country with Obama and he was on another book tour (or something), and they ended up getting back together, and part of their return is to announce their engagement..... Now wouldn't that be something.

    I thought the show ended with Rory going off to cover the Obama campaign as a journalist, not as her being part of the campaign. Yes, I could see her as a globe trotting reporter.
