I don't have any helpful suggestions, but I wanted you to know that you are not alone. I have an almost 17 year old son with autism and IED. The last 6 weeks have been rough for some reason. He has violent rages with little to no provocation. Today he tried to tackle my husband backwards off the front porch for saying his name---he had decided in that split second that he did a crappy job of shaving, and that his dad was going to say something to him about it. This is the second time in about 3 weeks he has attacked for things that haven't taken place ( except in his imagination).0
