scifi81 I have decided to do the 5:2 diet. It's intermittent fasting and has been proven to have numerous medical advantages, such, lowers risk of cancer, decreases cholesterol. Have a look on line and give it a go. There was an Horizons episode in it which you can watch. You eat normally for 5 days and you don't exceed 600 calories for the other two days. My brother has been doing it and is losing 2Ib a week without fail, and has lost over a stone so far
