Workout/Running Partners of the Opposite Sex?

Title says it all.
Personal experiences/preferences?
Pros and cons?

I finally found someone really close, like really close to where I live/am moving
and so far seems like a good fit, but its a guy. I always said I really didn't care
as long as I found someone close and supportive I'd be happy.

Im most worried that I'm at a totally different fitness level than him.

So, your thoughts? Yay or nay?

I workout with a few guys that are fit and way above my fitness level. I love it though. They push me to get me through my workout and way more knowledged base which helps out a lot.

They even set me up a routine that's best for me. I lift heavy and definitely has a big plus for my weightloss. So I would definitely go for it!!

    Good Luck!! :)
  • I don't have any experience with it, but I think I'd be okay with it. Even if you're not on the same level, You could help each other out with spotting or conversation on the treadmills, ellipticals, etc. I'd really enjoy playing tennis with someone, or a nice walk or run. I say yeah, why not?

Don't be afraid or embarrassed. I actually surprise them on how much I can lift especially squats. Square are awesome and I'm definitely seeing the progress from them in my legs and booty.
