    Depends on the nature of the illness. For a head cold, sure, working out is fine; but for the flu, with chest congestion and fever, then no -- bed rest and fluids are the prescription.

    Play it by ear. If you're exhausted, rest. I agree that any activity should be mild - walking, biking, moderate stuff. Personally, I love Yoga when I feel under-the-weather.

    Your workouts will still be there next week, but you only get one chance on you finals!

    Plan: rest today, play by ear at gym tomorrow, make it to my first exam on Tuesday relatively healthy. Thanks for the well wishing. I need it :)
