Chris Powell 7-Day Carb Cycle Solution

Just wondering for those of you who do this, what a typical day looks like for high carb, and then for low carb. I did it for about a month over the summer with great results, but then I seemed to slip off it. I think the "cheat day" is what threw me over the edge. Do you stick to the plan all week without a cheat day? Or did you use Sundays as he suggests? I believe there was also an option to "cheat" on your high carb days. What success have you had following it? And how regimented are you? If you could post examples of what you eat, that would be very helpful! Thanks!

i do high(er) carb days on workout days. I'll try to have 40-50% carbs that day.. oats, bread, rice, quinoa etc.
for low carb days i usually only have a small starchy carb in the morning then the rest of the day is lots of veggies. i do around 40% fats and 40% protein. fats are lots of nuts, avocado, coconut oil, goat cheese. i don't necessarily schedule a "cheat" day but just have one when i want it and try to fit it into my macros. you can add me and check out my diary
for low carb day i love this idea: take thick slices of eggplant.. top with tomato sauce with italian herbs, chicken sausage, goat cheese and bake it in the oven. it fills my italian girl cravings lol0 -
Thanks! That helps. How long have you been carb cycling?0
