Hi Guys, Happy Friday!!

A week ago I started a no fast food challenge for myself because I am addicted to fast food. I used to eat it two or more times per day and would literally die inside if I felt a craving and didn't satisfy it. So I decided for thirty days I would give it up and see what my body does.. after just a week of not having any fast food only home cooked meals my resting heart rate has gone from 90 Beats per minute to 82 beats per minute!! Isnt that crazy? Thats the strain that eating that crap did to my heart and after just a week of eating less processed sodium filled crap my heart is already improving it's efficiency in my bodies little work shop (christmas humor attempt lol)

I was shocked and a little sad to see what I've been doing to myself but I'm on a roll and there aint no stopping me now :-) Adding in small yet meaningful workouts each day, I know I can reach my goal and so can you!!

Well thats all here, I just wanted to share this in case there is someone else out there struggling with the addiction of fast food. You can do it and it will be worth it. Happy Friday :-)

Fast food is something I enjoy so I try to incorporate it once in awhile, if I deprive myself of things I enjoy I don't stick to these changes very long, but that's just me.

That's really great! Someday, when you're over the addiction, you could add it in once in a while, but sometimes going cold turkey helps too. I can hardly stand soda anymore, even diet. It's hard to believe I used to drink four cans of regular Coke every day. I can't even take a sip now; it's way too sweet.

I always consider an improved resting heart rate a HUGE NSV, and it's definitely one of the best. You're improving your health and preventing future heart disease every time the rate goes down a little. Mine was upward of 110 bpm (!!!) when I started losing weight, and now it's 72. :)
