Hey guys. So i joined this site my junior year of high school and i went far. I got down to 160 pounds and my waist was 33 inches. I got my freshman 15 and kinda lost my way even though I still want to be skinny more than anything in the world. I'm currently 178.8 pounds and my waist is 36 inches, i wanna get down enough where i can feel confident to wear a bikini this summer. anyone know of a good idea. (none of my friends are trying to lose weight) and i dont know of any challenges on here. maybe this post will inspire someone to make a challenge.
ps. i do work out, i go to school as a dance major so i dance 4 days a weeks and go dancing almost every night (obviously no drinking since im underaged and driving)

I challange you to make a life change of eating healthy (whatever you want to define that as) and watching your calories.
You know you've done it before and can do it again.
Best of luck.0 -
You need to challenge yourself! You don't need someone else to make you do it! You know it is the right thing for you and your future so be an inspriation to yourself and others. Especially if you are a dance major, you know your body needs to be it's best. Reach inside and find what helped you meet your goal before and tap into that terrific person you know you can be!0

All comments above are dead on. You definitely need to challenge yourself and learn to break the bad habits. I grew up in a household of terrible nutrition, and by the time I was in college my diet was awful. The only thing that saved me was I was a high level athlete and without that I would have had some real health and weight issues. So starting young like you are to understand how important the nutritional side of your life is will go a long way in your long term health. Trust me as you get older it gets much harder to keep up with changing metabolisms, so you are doing the right thing by reaching out and getting support to help you in your quest! Good luck and stay motivated and challenging and you will do great!0

My personal mantra for my journey is "Track...or you will fail", meaning you have to keep track of EVERYTHING you put into your mouth and everything you do to work it off. So I would definitely start with counting cals...like obsessively keeping track at least for a week. You'd be amazed at where your calories are really coming from.
I also wear a BodyBugg when I workout so I can get accurate totals of how many calories I'm actually burning; most of the calculators out there on the net are inaccurate.0
