Chocolate Milk vs white milk

Chocolate milk has blood in it...
So does that mean it has extra calcium?
protein...extra protein...
I try to stay away from iron. I bruise easily and I was told iron does that to you if you consume to much.
I cook with cast iron. My BF bruises easily from it when he comes home late from the bar.
But does he drink chocolate or white milk?0 -
That's milkist!

Is it just me, or is it becoming increasingly difficult to get a straight answer to a genuine question on these boards. Kind of a shame, really.....
There could be a section of the board called "Straight Answers," but that would be exclusionary.0 -

In case someone uninformed is reading this thread and doesn't realize it as a joke...
Chocolate milk has no blood in it lol.0 -
There is calcium in chocolate milk, but it is the same amount of calcium in regular milk I think. It does have more sugar, so if you are concerned about the amount of sugar you get, watch out for that also.
No Im pregnant so Im not worried about the sugar, just the calcium.
then you should be asking if there is caffeine in the chocolate something a pregnant woman should not have too much of. check with your doctor. i'm guessing there is very little since it is just a syrup that's added to white milk but you do want to double check this just to be on the safe side.
I already checked. There is very little caffine in chocolate milk and you can have up to 200 mg of caffine a day if you are pregnant. But, I try to have alot less than that.0 -

:drinker: (that's supposed to be chocolate milk in that glass - not beer). do watch your sugar though.0 -

With or without the blood?0 -
They actually add sugar to both low & non-fat milks, but with chocolate milk they add over twice as much! White milk is also higher in calcium. If you don't like milk, skip it and get your calcium from veggies. Dark green veggies are loaded with calcium, loaded with other vitamins and have no fat. And on a side note, stay away from Tums with Calcium; you need stomach acid to absorb calcium so taking them is pointless. It is a marketing gimmick! Good luck!!!0

Why don't you just pick up a bottle of chocolate milk and read the label? Or is this just me?0

I'm pretty darned certain that Tums doesn't completely rid your stomach of its acid. And I'll take the advice of medical professionals about Tums with calcium over someone on the Internet. :flowerforyou:0 -

Why thank you! Although I hear some people are ranting about it on their pages. I think "lame" was one of the terms used. That's ok though. I am easily amused and I had fun.0
