Hi. My name is Brenda and I'm not quite sure how the intro (or any) postings work here. I've never tried anything like this to try and lose weight and get healthy and figure it may just work for me. I live in Portland, Or and really need to get active, maybe find people here in S.W. PDX area to work out with. I'd like to find people on here so we can hopefully help each other. Add me/add you (or however it works). Any advice would be awesome! Thanx!

Thanks. I'm hoping that accountability with a food diary and online support it will motivate me to get active. That's my biggest issue! Exercise!

Just have to do it. Took me almost 6 months of forcing myself to go, even if it was only 10 min. Now I enjoy going. Now I go 3-4 times a week for 30-60 min. Not as active as some on here but for me its huge as I hated exercising.

I love the way I feel after I exercise but somehow find it difficult to begin. I have my mini trampoline in the living room but I don't feel like its enough of a workout as it doesn't get my heart rate going. It's better than sitting on the couch and doing nothing though!
