Hello everyone,
I've been on MFP for about a year and half now, and i've made some amazing friends! However only a couple of them are really active. I'm looking for friends to be motivated by and to really motivate!!!
A little about me-I'm in my late 20s, I work full time and at desk job.
I started at 150+ and the lowest i've gotten down to is 132.5 haha. I keep bouncing around the 130s and i'd really like to get to my ultimate goal of 125 by April 2013.
Most importantly, I think, are my beliefs about weight loss...we probably aren't compatible friends if we have radically different ideas
I'm all about balance, I will eat treats and restaurant food as long as it fits into my calorie goal. I.e I will exercise so that I can eat pizza and ice cream haha. I try to focus on getting in veggies / fruits / whole grains / lean proteins, but i believe that moderation is key and that my lifestyle involves social gatherings with food. I also usually drink on the weekends so I need to accommodation for that as well. I think it's a balance of enjoying life but also recognizing that unfortunately, there is going to be some sacrifices for weight loss. if it was up to me i'd be eating a pint of Ben and Jerry's weekly haha. I'm very pro-exercise. Sometimes if i'm feeling really crappy I will go low on sodium / do no carbs for a couple of days, but i'll never cut out anything completely.
Be my friend!!! ahaha.
