I recently started taking pole dancing classes with a friend, but pole dancing isn't in the exercise database. Any ideas on what to log it as instead? It involves a lot more upper body work than regular dancing... :S

I would love some help with this too.
At the moment it depends on the class I'm taking, I take 2-3 class a week, ranging from " Yay! I know how to do that!" to "Holy crap, what do you want me to do and how many times!". For the easier class I log in the time doing stretching as stretching and then the actual time on the pole I have estimated from internet research about 312 cal an hour. But its just an estimate assuming you are working pretty non stop for the time. So for the harder classes where I am going full out I calculate it as I'm doing pole for the whole 75 min class.
Hope that helps!0 -
I list this under Calisthenics and then either Light or Vigorous, according to how intense the session was - there are two in the Exercise database.0
