I have a question so I eat the same things but I have cut way back on dr pepper and I eat slower and also I dont eat as much as I used to, the crazy part is I still lose everyweek 2 lbs every time and only once so far did I only lose 1 lb, I also exercise 3 to 5 times a week, does that mean I have a good matebolism (sorry horrible speller) Dont get me wrong I dont go and eat that bad I eat grilled chicken sandwiches, speggetti, stuff like that, I just dont eat alot of it and more times than not I go over my calorie intake 2000 or less.

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but don't get used to it. Weight loss is not linear and you will not be able to consistently lose the same amount week after week. You are doing great, just don't be surprised if some weeks you don't lose or if it fluctuates wildly. It happens!0

Let's hope you have just struck on the perfect combo. But realistically, I agree with melsinct. In the beginning it's easy, and then there will be weeks where you just say "what the ????" and lose nothing.
Just try to continue to do the good stuff. Weight loss is about a pattern of behavior over a period of time. You've got this.0 -
It sounds like your metabolism is functioning just the way it should.
As melsinct says, these things can change over time and your body composition and activity levels change. You might hit a point where you find your body is making some lean body mass to offset the fat you're losing and the weight loss won't be as pronounced.
Really what this means is that you've got your math right, you've found a sweet spot, and as long as you're feeling good, keep it up and start saving money for smaller clothes.
Sounds like you're doing great! Congratulations!0 -
It means you are eating the right number of calories to lose weight at your current energy level. This number will change as you get smaller or if your energy level changes.0

And for now you're doing great! Keep it up!
Once it's not working anymore, change it.0 -

lol your so not being a debbie downer at all I know at some point I will have to change certin things, when I first lost 50 lbs a little over a year ago I did not have problems losing at all the same as now my problem was giving up this time I will finish what I started ! I used to drink 5 32 oz dr peppers a day now I only drink one a day so I know that has helped SO MUCH, by the way its better to tell the truth than to say what u think people want to hear! thank you0 -
