Sodexo poster at the cafeteria

I went to the 'company' cafeteria today and saw a poster there saying something about eating healthy... it had a picture of a mobile phone and the headline had the MFP tri-blue logo. I never knew MFP and Sodexo had teamed up... it was cool to see that logo out in the wild.

The cafeteria is actually good about posting nutrition data for everything they serve... you see the calories, carbs, fats, protein, etc. breakdown on the dish-of-the-day, the grilled items, the cellophane-wrapped sandwiches, etc. They offer turkey burger patties, a salad bar, lite dressings, vegetable dishes, and other useful options.

Here's the corporate PR stuff I found about it:

The cafeteria at my company also has sodexo and mfp teamed up. The post challenges and contests all the time. Its nice to see the company activly involved in the health of the employees instead of just talking about it.

I so wish our cafeteria provider would so that...I have asked, but all they do is post babble about "a serving should x ounces", or "you should eat y vegetables per day". Never do they say how big their "serving" is or what the calorie count might be.

Yea, Our cafe is really good about posting all the nutritional values. They have screens at each serving station that shows all of the values. They also give out a punch card so if you order from the healthy menu 9 times, your 10th meal is free. Its a great program! Im sorry you havnt had any luck perswading your company.
