How Long after a strength training workout, followed by a protein shake should one wait to consume copious amounts of alcohol?

Psh, mix 'em up! Vodka has a neutral flavor.

you mean you don't put alcohol in the "water" bottle you take to the gym? Just me? No?

Before. I seem to work out better when drunk. More likely I *imagine* I work out better, LOL.

Alcohol dehydrates you due to suppressing the anti-diuretic hormone. So, if you're losing water during a workout, then going to drink, god help your kidneys and liver.

Yeah. I'd just say you want to rehydrate first. However long that takes you...
