    When I was very young my favorite book that my dad read to me had a main charecter named Benito Bedoglio. When my dad read to me he used Field's voice for Benito. I was probably 14 before I saw anything with Fields in it, although I knew who he was. The first time I ever heard his voice I said "hey Dad! This guy sounds just like Benito Bedoglio!"

    When he worked vaudville he had a part time job of sorts. At one of the parks on the coast he would fall off the pier and pretent to drown and someone would be hired to dive in and "save him". Sometimes he would drown a few times per day.
