I’m someone who does NOT like vegetables much and has never really eating them since moving out of my parent’s house. My vegetable consumption consisted of corn, potatoes (prepared anyway) and that was about it. I just recently started eating apples again as my source of fruit. I don’t take vitamins or supplements. My loving wife has always been on me about eating fruits and vegetables, but I just couldn’t do it. I try several things but found that I can’t do it. Maybe over a period eating healthy and consistently exercising, I will begin to like more.

Someone recently introduced me to V8 Fusion Light Strawberry Banana drink. I like it and will continue to drink it for my source of vegetables and fruits. There are other flavors, but have not tried them.

In 1-8oz glass of V8-Fusion there is a full serving of vegetables AND a full serving of fruit.

  • Todd, I was never a veggie guy either until I started MFP and my diet on January 5. Since then since I am counting calories and for the most veggies are free I am now a veggie eater. When we go out to eat, I get a nice filet or flat iron and then a side of steamed broccoli. I even am now eating Salad at Saladworks because they have a Newport Salad that is packed with shrimp, olives, tomatoes, tuna, and sunflower seeds. It has helped me get my veggies in. What about Celery with fat free ranch veggie dip. Cucumbers soaked in zero cal vinegar or dressing is great too. Just a couple suggestions. Your profile is very very similar to mine. If you want a friend let me know.

PS: If you are dieting, you absolutely would do yourself a favor by taking a GNC Multi Purpose Vitamin for active men. Also if not eating veggies, you really should take a Fiber Tablet too.
