How do you find general exercise to log?

It seems like there are a ton of 'pre' set things but how do you find things like mopping floors etc? Not that I would count that but you know what I mean? I know I can go look it up on the internet and bring it over here but just wondering if I am looking wrong? Also, how come if I do 'strength training' it doesn't 'burn' calories??? I must be doing something wrong. Help. Ü
