The nutritinal information is incorrect for this product. The Sodium according to my jar is 105 not 150 as found in the food search. Thanks for updating the food information as it is already very tough to stay under my alloted sodium intake saving 45 mg is a big thing!!

gemboy- This happens to me time to time... but have no fear!! You can actually add the item in the database with the correct amount. Just go to "Add a Food not in the Database" and add the correct amounts. Hopefully more people will click on confirm to also confirm that your new entry is correct. If you have anymore questions just ask!! :)

Actually, if you search for "smuckers natural peanut butter NEW" you'll get the entry with the correct information. Apparently Smucker's changed their nutrition info on the label recently.
I went through a jar of it & noticed all the entries were wrong except the one that said "new label."
It's a common thing -- manufacturers change recipes and update the nutrition info from time to time.
  • That's great I'll look for the "new" reference. If I can avoid creating new foods I do. That is such a time consuming process! Thanks to you both.
  • I've just found an even better way to update a food item that has inacurate nutritional information. You just have to be on a pc and you can search for the item in the food database and then you can actually click on an EDIT link and you can change the item to the correct values. I just did this for a brand of popcorn that was slighty incorrect. This is definately the best way to do this!!!
