Cheap and Easy Holiday Gifts?

I need help from the creative MFPers. I'm broke this year and need to get my 6 nieces and nephews christmas gifts. I also usually get my two sisters and their husbands, and my parents and in-laws.
Last year I got a small gift for each child then a "family" gift for my sisters. It worked out really well, I did a family game night basket and a family movie night basket. I was to do something similar this year, but I can't think of a new theme for the baskets. I obvisously don't want to give the same idea as last year.

Anyone have any ideas of family-friendly gifts that I could make or buy for cheap? Also any ideas for the kids would be wonderful! (one family has a 2yr old boy, 4 yr old girl, and 9 yr old boy. the other family has a 4 yr old boy, 11 yr old girl, and an 18 ys old boy)

Thanks in advance!

  • Last year I made food gifts. You use the 1 qt mason jars and layer the ingredients for the recipe then tie it with a really pretty ribbon with the list of wet ingredients and cooking instructions.. You could do the dessert types for the kids, and the entree type for your I sisters. One that my daughter and the other working ladies really liked is for Jambalaya, it has all the rice and spices ready to go, so it turns a hassle type recipe into something they could make easily after a day of work.
